- To be eligible a competitor must be a member of a club affiliated to Norfolk County ASA at the time their entry is made and must remain a member of a club affiliated to Norfolk County ASA until they have completed their last swim in the Championship. There are no restrictions on changing clubs between making the entry and the last swim but there must not be a break in membership between the clubs concerned.
- All championships shall be held annually under ASA laws.
The Executive Committee shall- Decide the dates on which the championship galas will be held
- Decide at which venues the championship galas will be held
- Decide the entry fees
- Decide the qualifying times if required
- Decide what (if any) medals shall be presented.
- Impose any other conditions or restrictions as may be necessary for the running of the galas.
- Entries which should reach the appointed gala organiser by the declared closing date for entries should preferably be submitted on the official form. A club official to certify that the information given is correct must countersign entry forms.
Entry fees should accompany the entry form unless other prior arrangements have been made.
Junior competitors may be required to provide proof of their dates of birth. A junior shall be one who has not attained their 17th birthday by the last date of the competition - The number of entries to an individual swimming championship may be restricted in which case the acceptances will be based on submitted times. There will be no separate junior championships. The junior champion will be the junior swimmer returning the fastest times in the heats with the second and subsequent places similarly determined.
- The winner of a championship event shall be entitled to hold the appropriate trophy which must be returned to the Trophies officer by the agreed date. It is understood that in accepting the trophy, the trophy holder will take reasonable care of the trophy whilst it is in his possession.

CHAMPIONSHIP RULES - DIVING (General conditions covering diving championships.)
- To be eligible a competitor must be:
- an amateur
- registered as a diver with the A.S.A
- a member of a club affiliated to the Norfolk A.S.A
An eligible competitor must also comply with at least one of the following conditions:- Was born within the county of Norfolk
- Have resided within the county of Norfolk for at least three months immediately prior to the date of closing of entries.
- Have been a member for a continuous period of at least six months immediately prior to the date of closing of entries of a club affiliated to Norfolk ASA
- Springboard Diving Championships for Junior Men, Junior Ladies, Senior Men and Senior Ladies shall be competed for annually.
Where a three metre springboard is to be used the minimum depth of water in the diving area shall be 3.8 metres; if only a 1 metre board is available, a depth of 3.4 metres shall suffice.
High board championships, if held, shall take place from a fixed board 5 metres high, and the minimum depth of water in the diving area shall be 3.8 metres. - The Degree of Difficulty Tables (International Tariff Tables) compiled by FINA and published by the ASA shall be used for all County Diving championships and only dives listed in the above mentioned Tables may be executed. All rules approved by FINA governing the execution of the dives shall apply.
- The 'Contest Conditions' for all County Diving Championships shall be reviewed annually by the Diving Sub Committed and printed on the official entry form.
- Diving officials shall be appointed by the Hon. Diving Secretary. A Referee and a minimum of three Judges should be employed; if necessary one of the judges may also act as the Referee. An Announcer, Recorder and a Check Recorder must also be appointed.
- Prior to the Championships each competitor shall submit a list of dives - which must meet the current Contest Conditions - to the Hon. Diving Secretary by the date requested.

NORFOLK/SUFFOLK SYNCHRONISED SWIMMING COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS
- The Competition is open to all amateur swimmers belonging to any Club affiliated to the Norfolk and Suffolk A S A's, and who have been born within the County of Norfolk or Suffolk, or have resided therein for at least 3 months immediately prior to the date of closing of entries or have been a member, for a continuous period of at least 6 months, of a Club affiliated to the Norfolk or Suffolk A S A's, immediately prior to the date of closing of entries.
- Provided that at the date of the Championship, the competitor concerned shall not have competed in the Championships of any other county in the year of competition.
- Full conditions of entry will be published annually prior to each competition.
