County Coach Job Description

The role of County Coach for Swim England Norfolk entails:

  1. Attendance at all county team competitions.
  2. Delivery of a high standard of coaching to the Norfolk team during county team competitions.
  3. Communicating and working alongside the county development committee to improve Norfolk swimming. Including attending development committee meetings (Zoom) as required.
  4. Being the focal point to club coaches on all matters relevant to the improvement of swimming in Norfolk.
  5. Delivering presentations from Swim England/Aquatics GB to parents as and when required.
  6. The selection of Norfolk’s talented 11 year olds – in liaison with County Club Coaches – for the county development camps.
  7. Designing, arranging and delivering the county development camps for the top 11 year olds in the county.
  8. Attendance at the quarterly County Exec Meeting (Zoom).
  9. Attendance at the quarterly County Competitions Meeting (Zoom).
  10. Attendance at the ad hoc Competitions Working Group Meetings (Zoom or Google Meet).
  11. Representation of the County at any SEER or Swim England or Aquatics GB events aimed at County Coaches.
