County Coach Job Description

The role of County Coach for Swim England Norfolk entails:
- Attendance at all county team competitions.
- Delivery of a high standard of coaching to the Norfolk team during county team competitions.
- Communicating and working alongside the county development committee to improve Norfolk swimming. Including attending development committee meetings (Zoom) as required.
- Being the focal point to club coaches on all matters relevant to the improvement of swimming in Norfolk.
- Delivering presentations from Swim England/Aquatics GB to parents as and when required.
- The selection of Norfolk’s talented 11 year olds – in liaison with County Club Coaches – for the county development camps.
- Designing, arranging and delivering the county development camps for the top 11 year olds in the county.
- Attendance at the quarterly County Exec Meeting (Zoom).
- Attendance at the quarterly County Competitions Meeting (Zoom).
- Attendance at the ad hoc Competitions Working Group Meetings (Zoom or Google Meet).
- Representation of the County at any SEER or Swim England or Aquatics GB events aimed at County Coaches.
