Norfolk Masters June 6th Start List and useful information

Dear Swimmer,

Thank-you for entering the Norfolk Masters gala. With a pre-seeded gala there is the possibility of empty lanes. Please be ready in plenty of time for your race.

Car Parking

There are 2 car parks available, one for the Sportspark, which if coming from Earlham Road will be on your left before you reach the pool. If this car park gives you a ticket then it will need to be validated at reception before you leave. The second car park is the main UEA car park on your left after the pool. This now has automated number plate recognition (ANPR), enter your numberplate into the machine opposite reception to avoid being charged.

Entrance to poolside

Please try and gather in the Sportspark foyer for 4:45 p.m., as the doors will open for a short period 15 minutes prior to warm-up. Late arrivals will have to speak to reception to gain access after that time.

Lockers

All lockers require a padlock, padlocks can be bought from reception

Pool Air Quality

Please do not block the vents on the window side of the pool as this affects the air conditioning system.

Warm-up

The warm-up will be split 15 minutes for female swimmers, 15 Minutes for open/male swimmers. Odd numbered lanes will swim clockwise, even numbered lanes will swim anti-clockwise. There will be no diving except in designated sprint lanes. Sprint lanes will be assigned towards the end of the warm-up. Lanes will be allocated slowest in lane 1 to fastest in lane 8. Please be considerate and follow these instructions, and the guidance of the marshals so that warming up is a pleasant experience.

Phones

The pool operates a no phones policy on poolside, or in the spectator area and in the changing rooms. People using their phones in these areas have, in the past, been asked to leave, by pool staff

Start Lists

There will be copies of the start list around poolside as well as attached to this email, please print a copy of the start list, if required, rather than using your phone (no phones on poolside).

Relay Team Declarations

Attached to this email is a relay team declaration form, this can be ignored by most of you and is only required by the person who entered the relays.
