Exciting Day of Racing at the Inter Counties Gala Saturday 3rd June 2023
City of Norwich Juniors awarded the Copeman Cup by Cheryl Rose Swim England Norfolk President
City of Norwich Seniors presented with the Christine Clark Club by Cheryl Rose, Swim England Norfolk President
The Inter Counties Gala saw 8 teams across Norfolk racing against each other at The UEA Sportspark. This is the first time this club gala has taken place since 2019 due to Covid restrictions.
Teams from City of Norwich, Dereham Otters, Diss Otters, Great Yarmouth, Norwich Swan, North Norfolk Vikings, Thetford Dolphins and West Norfolk Swimming Club took part.
Lots of cheering for team members and a great atmosphere was achieved.
Saturday morning saw the Juniors 12 years and underevent with fantastic PBs and team medleys achieved.
1st City of Norwich SC, 2nd West Norfolk SC, 3rd Norwich Swan.
The afternoon was the turn of the seniors 13 years and over, again what a great atmosphere and brilliant swimming.

Well done to all swimmers and swim clubs who took part. It certainly was a great event, especially watching the canon relays.
