Norfolk Masters finish 4th in the East Region Inter-Counties Masters

A team of 36 swimmers from Norfolk swam in this years Inter-Counties Masters competition at Bury St Edmunds.

Norfolk had 9 individual wins

• Tom Arkle in the 50m Breaststroke
• Sam Rose in the 50m Butterfly
• Spike Buchan in the 50m Freestyle
• Rikke Nagell-Kleven in the 50m Butterfly
• Spike Buchan in the 50m Backstroke
• Lynne Meale in the 50m Breaststroke
• Lucy Rodwell in the 50m Butterfly

Norfolk also had 4 Relay wins

• 220+ Female Medley Team
• 140+ Female Medley Team
• 72+ Female Free Team
• 100+ Open/Male Medley Team

All the masters regions hold their inter-county competition over the same weekend. The results are put back in the computer and a National Result is calculated. Norfolk finished 21st out of 31 nationally. The national results can be found here
